It's almost as big as Canada's. I give the Canadian military another 10
years before it sinks into total irrelevancy.
Read Jane's latest in the JDW magazine http://jdw.janes.com/ a sad story of
the fall of the Canadian military under the Liberals. I have the article in
document format if you're unable to login to JDW.

It's all very impressive. But is there someway to find out how many
planes of what type a given nation has. For example, I can find out that
Belgium flys the Alpha-Jet, but not how many.
What would be nice is a list that says:
Belgium
25 Alpha-Jet
17 F-16A
03 F-16B
And so on.

No need - sci.military.naval has had discussions on what the Canadian
gummint is doing to totally disarm the country. Pretty soon, it'll be
completely helpless.

Ah. Well, THAT makes me feel better, knowing that international

One of my favorite lines from a movie is from Aliens, when the Marines are
told they cannot use slug throwers, leaving them with a total of two useful
weapons in the squad.

Right! Right, that's it. Parks. Sorry, they said "Canada" and I
