One of the Lightnings had to have a quick engine change overnight as it sucked in a magpie on the practice day. These units were from 74 Squadron and flew in from RAF Tengah in Singapore for the weekend. --

I remember the weather was fine for the practice day on Saturday, then closed in for the actual airshow. The RAF EE Lightnings were quite impressive when seen from a distance on Saturday. By comparison, their low-level display was a disappointment - only because I'd seen their high level...
