question on student taxi practice by

Has anybody ever heard of an instructor turning a pre-solo student loose in
an airplane alone for taxi practice around an airport without supervision ?
It was basically "go taxi the airplane around the airport and taxiways but
don't go on the runway and don't take off, I'll come back to check on...

Canopy limits - How tall are you ??? by

Sitting on the floor, back straight up against the wall - using a ruler on
my head, my gal marked off my (sitting) height with a piece of tape.
Floor up to tape mark: 38 1/2 inches ...almost one meter (0.98)
Standing ...6' - 2.5"
Sitting .......3' - 2.5"
Add a headset and I'm just over 40...
