[email protected]
Hi All,

Cub. Original part received was a different design and no longer made
by TOST, and there was no way we could make it fit, so it's having to
be returned to the dealer. So now, we are thinking of putting the

Paul Remde
Hi,

right soaring instruments for their needs. A while ago I thought of the
idea of adding audio recordings to my web site of each variometer - so
customers could judge for themselves which one was the best match for...

Weak link - single or reserve? by
Tom Nau
Hi All,
Our commercial operation (more like a club) is starting to do winch
launches. I just bought a Tost weak link for my glider from W&W. Are
most people using a "single" weak link or a "single and a reserve"
weak link? Thanks.

Aero Exhibition is now an annual event by
Burt Compton - Marfa
After the SSA Directors decided in the fall of 2006 (and after another
short debate in the fall of 2007 during which they upheld their
decision) to hold our SSA Convention only every two years, the
fabulous European Aero exhibition is now an annual event. One of the

Transponder Antenna Location by

I am going to install a transponder in my Ventus and struggling with
the decision on where to locate the antenna.
Any comments on installing the antenna on the forward portion of the
glare shield...inside the cockpit?

Visual indicators!
Back in 1901, or some where about then, I flew a 1-26 to a really
high altitude. I had left the area of recognizable land and decided to
look at the ground and...

the IPAQ 3970 with WinPilot 7.0.
After three good flights with no problems from the Colibri or the IPAQ I got
airborne a fourth time to find a...
