I'm having a bit of trouble finding some clear but slightly red-tinted (not opaque) 3/16" I.D. instrument tubing. Anyone know of a source for that? I only need about 12 feet. Is possible to dye clear vinyl tubing? Thanks, John

Winter altimeter error by bumper
My Winter 57 mm 20,000 ft altimeter reads about 200 ft high when entering the barometric pressure in the Kholsman window. Some altimeters have a screw adjust for this. Anyone know how this is done on the Winter? thanks, bumper

Suitable glider avionics by James
Has anyone had any experience with this company, Aveotech? They make electronic instruments (altimeter, ASI, and VSI, etc.) that look suitable for gliders which are a lot less expensive than mechanical ones. Their altimeters also keep a log. www.aveousa.com
