I wonder how many different landing checklists are in use. If the list you use is not USTALL, (Undercarriage, Speed, Trim, Airbrakes, Look out for Traffic, Land), please post here and label the items.

I currently charge the (hard to remove) batteries in my ASH-26E with a solar panel and charger installed on/in my trailer. During a contest, the plane may not spend much time in the trailer during daylight hours, but it does spend most nights in there. The solution would be to use the solar panel...

I notice that a Schweizer 2-32 with a published L/D of 33 is handicapped at 1.500. This seems like a great bargain, the same as a Falke SF-25C at 1.500 but with only about 22 L/D. Are there other equally great deals out there ? Or any outstandingly heavily handicapped types ? Ian

We have a SZD 55 that was purchased with a aerotow hook only, the fittings for the mounting of the hook on the U/C leg and the cable guide on the wheel well were already there (factory) The problem we have.on fitting the winch hook....is the range of movement of the 2 hooks is hugely...
