Wanted: FRONT nose Trim weights for LS gliders by [email protected]
Does anyone have nose trim weights for their LS-3 up to LS-10 glider that they do not use and would sell to me? They are 2.45 kg = 5.4 lbs each. I need TWO more trim weights for the nose of my LS-8 that I can add when I fly and remove when my husband flies. Thanks. --Cathy

GliderLink - New team soaring app for airborne location sharing by [email protected]
I'm excited to announce a new soaring app I've developed called GliderLink. The app shows your location and the location of nearby gliders on a moving map. You can see the other gliders' callsign, relative altitude, heading, and vertical speed. That's about it right now; it's very simple. The value...

Looking for PW-5 canopy by [email protected]
The canopy of my PW-5 glider was damaged rather severely. I'm looking for a replacement (unlikely, I know) or for someone who can rebuild it from the frame. Any ideas?

Nearest Location by [email protected]
I am 13 years old and I want to learn to fly a glider. The one problem is that the nearest gliding school near me is 1 hr and 40 minutes away and this is way too far. I was wondering if there was a way around this. I have looked for different places but they are all too far. FYI I live in eastern...

Softie Parachute for Schleicher gliders with a seat back cutout by Craig Reinholt
Last year I bought a new Softie parachute for my ASH 31. Not researching things through properly, I briefly read the Softie website (ok, I’m a dipstick for not drilling down in the "not so" fine print) and ordered the 240 MINI Softie model. Being a guy that is moderately “prosperous”, but can...

Recommended websites for posting student IGC files? by George Haeh
Now that we finally have a PowerFLARM in our club 2-seater, I am wondering where to post the IGC files so the students can later examine their flights, and possibly make badge claims.

Has anyone successfully used pin 4 to connect a vario audio to the speaker for a Dittel FSG 2T radio? I tried this with a ClearNav Vario and was not successful. The manual indicates that this should work, but states that this feature is optional. I don't know if this means that it is an optional...
