transponder repair by [email protected]
I have a Narco AT50A transponder that is not working right. Since I don't fly IFR, I'm thinking I'll just get it repaired and not upgrade to an expensive unit with a more modern design (such as Garmin GTX 327). It seems that if the repair is cheaper than buying a used yellow-tagged newer model, I'm...

garmin 296-can't find delete by [email protected]
I have a new Garmin 296 and I can't figure out how to delete the factory-loaded default airport that displays when "Go To" is selected. It's the first alphabetic airport in the database, I assume, KAAA. I can't find any way to delete it or any of the airports I've added. Anyone know how to do it?

Amateur Review of the Garmin GPSMAP 296 GPS I've been using the GPSMAP 296 for about a week now, and since there's really not that much detailed info available about it (even on the Garmin site), I figured it might help some people to get a little idea of how it works. Maybe other owners can...
