To Stu Fields by

Hi Stu,
I tried to email this to you directly, but it kept bouncing back
undelivered so I am posting it here.
I didn't realize that you and BJ were close friends. I'm really
saddened (and stunned) by the news of what happened to him.
Although I wont be able to attend the funeral myself, I...

Their is a older strobe type Chadwick model 8350 on e-bay starting price
$1500. Is this a reasonable price for an older type Chadwick?

They don't say the name in the video but it could only be helicopter pioneer

Deepest condolences to the family.

R22 owners please help with AD 2004-06-52 by
rotortrash
For those of you unaware the FAA has issued an emergency AD
(2004-06-52) on March 18, 2004 that requires any R22 blade older than
10 years may no longer be used. The basis for the AD is questionable.
Little if any documented research was done to verify that the age of
the blade has any effect on...

NACA Chord Balance point by
[email protected]
Does anybody know how to mathmatically tell where the balance point
should be on a NACA 63-015 airfoil? On a single number NACA airfoil,
like NACA 0012, the number represents the balance point in percent
from the big end. With two number airfoils, how do you figure it out?
Is it 15% from the big...

idea: single occupant VTOL.. (will it fly?) by
Eddie
Hi Folks,
I recently had a vision - in fact, it was the week of the Wright
Brothers 100th anniversary - for what it's worth... single occupant
VTOLs...
Look at the quicktime video and tell me if my idea has merit.

Seating Arrangements by
Tim
On another forum, the question has been raised as to why the pilot in a heli
usually sits on the right (excepting tandem cockpit arrangements,
obviously!), when in a fixed wing aircraft the PIC sits on the left. Does
anyone here know the definitive answer? In fact, IS there a definitive
answer, or...
