Crossover table? by
trailgalore
Where can I find a table or chart that would show what hours (and any other
info) can be carried from one rating to another? For example, I'm interested
in obtaining sport pilot rating from a private glider pilot one. A published
book, and/or FAA regs would be helpful.

Apologies to the other dgs by

To the other dgs:
I only began posting in this group a few days ago, and I've been using

or cause any confusion. I can see that you've been using this nick on
this board before I was.
Apologies for any confusion this may have...

As graduation and my career as an A&P (hopefully with paid flying

I have been putting out some "feelers" for work. Who's nearby in
central Texas, what do they do, what would I make, benefits etc...

Spoilers, no spoilers? by
Amine
An Air Canada DC-8 crashed in 1970 because spoilers were deployed
before landing, which "by the book" is a definite no-no (cf. Air
Canada 621 disaster). How come the first officer (with over 5500 hrs
with that type of aircraft) made such a decision to deploy spoilers
while still in the air? What...
