Accelerated spin questions by
John Harper
Did my first accelerated spins yesterday (in a Grob). Woohoo.
Unfortunately my stomach wasn't wild about them, so I only
did a couple. But I did get to thinking about the aerodynamics
of them (maybe as a way to forget my nausea!), and I had a
couple of questions which I wondered if anyone here can...

Accident site found: Landing gear from Bulldog? by
SEG
Hi.
I'm new to this list and I am not a pilot.
On a recent hike in Northern California, our group stumbled upon an
aviation accident site. The wreckage included part of a wing and
part of a landing gear. No tail number was evident. We notified
the forest rangers, but I am not yet convinced that...

aero-domains for aerobatic fans by
secura
It is not well known, that also aerobatic fans can get
aero-domains. If they have an own website or send a document, they can
get a domain name at .aero and at the official subdomain
aerobatic.aero, which has been established by SITA.
In the future, everybody, who is interested, in flying,...

Silent Bob.
Hi all.

as the training flight i did in the citabria? I know probably not *quite* as
powerful and efficient, but will i do rolls and loops and leave passengers
smiling?
Im particularly interestred in aeros pilots who...

Aerobatic Competitions by
Volitan
Is there a list of the big (and small?) aerobatics competitions in the US? Google only shows ones from overseas or the bigtime IAC ones.

Aerobatic engine IO-360 AEIO-360 comparison by
Jay Moreland
I need to have someone explain to me the advantages of two different
Aerobatic engines: IO-360 with Christen Inverted Oil system VS an
AEIO-360. Are there any inherent benefits of one over the other when
doing acro with negative G maneuvers? Or are they essentially the same?
Can you take any...

Aerobatics and children by
[email protected]
I've got a 6-year old son who's convinced he'll be a Blue Angel when he
grows up.
He's asked a number of times if we could go do aerobatics some time.
I think he's too young for it to be safe, but at what age might it
start to be appropriate? What types of things to I need to take...

Aerobatics in Northern NJ by
Andrew Gideon
Going through the archive of this group, I see several posts about
aerobatics at Sussex. One mentions a place called Airbatix, while others
mention instructors by name.
But these posts weren't recent.
Is there any aerobatic training going on in Northern NJ now? I know about
Van Sant, but I'm...

Aerobatics in Toronto area? by
pigpen
We have four Pitts S-2B's at CYSH, 25nm southwest of Ottawa,
Ontario. We're more in the airshow business than the flight
training business, but if there's anything we can do to help,
let us know.
