The first roll ever in a non aerobat 150 by
pittss1c
The subject is obviously a joke.
Before the alarmists continue on about over stressing the plane for the
next pilot, how many unexplained structural failures (or fatigue
failures) do you find in the accident database for 150s? Is this the
first you ever heard of someone doing mild acro in a 150/2?...

G-LOC by
Mike
Hi everyone,
I'm writing about a G-LOC I experienced last Monday 05/17/04 to
inform and prepare other aerobatic pilots.
Last Monday at about 3:15 PM I departed ENW airport in an EXTRA 300L
to the west to practice my sequences for the 2004 intermediate
category,at 4500 ft ( about 3700' AGL ) I...

Jungster 2 by

I have bought a Jungster 2 without motor or instruments etc.
Doe anyone have any experience flying these things.
Would like to know actual stall speeds with various motors.
I have a Lycoming 145.
this is low power for an aerobatic but I am not interested in aerobatics.
Need to know how it will...

Pitts brake fluid by
Al MacDonald
While recently doing some extended inverted time, practicing rolling out on
headings while still trying to maintain altitude, I noted some brake fluid
had leaked onto the pedals and got rather slippery. I hadn't noticed this
before, as most of my stuff so far has been positive Gs. I'm assuming...

how to cope with negative g´s? by
Markus
Hi,
I wonder what you have to say about how to train myself to better cope
with negative g´s!
The problem I have is, that whenever I do a series of (hard) negative
manouvers (say between -5 and -6.5g) I get headache and my face shows a
zillion of small red spots (bursted veins) which disappear...

Pitts S-1 whereabouts. by
Alan
In the early 1980's, my father and I built a Pitts S-1 in Canada. It was
painted in an almost "stock" Pitts paint scheme, overall white with
international orange sunburst on wings and tail and fuselage striping , and
bahama blue leading edges and pin-striping. Canadian registration was
C-GRZF,...

Decathlon engine managment-> power off spins by
max
What's the best way to manage the engine during the recovery from a
power off spin into another maneuver in a plane like the Super Decatlon
with constant speed prop?
If I have the RPM set to 2400 before reducing power for the stall/spin,
need I worry about overspeeding the engine by adding the...
