Advice on Partnerships by Jay Moreland
I would like to be able to share expenses and work on my experimental aircraft now and in the future. I would like to have a partnership with several others both to build and to operate an experimental 4 to 6 place aircraft. Perhaps, especially in building, this is not advisable. I would like to...

lanier paraplane? by patrick mitchel
Anyone have any info on the lanier paraplane(and the II version)? 20 mph landing speed and a 150 mph cruise seems a lot like the claims on the infomercials for kitchen gadgets. TIA Pat

The Wright Flyer yesterday by Michael Horowitz
Yesterday's coverage pointed out two things that caught my ear: First, that it was a considerable amount of time before the Brothers were able to duplicate the longest flight of the day, and second, that the craft was (apparently) just on the edge of being able to fly. So, anyone know what aspect...

Carpeting options? - New Cessna's as an example by BellSouth.net News
On the new Cessna 172's, Cessna uses a Black mat type carpeting in the front, then it goes to actual carpet in the back. I'm looking for a source for the black mat in the front to do the floor in a Mooney. Anyone know what they use or where I might get some? I believe it's a polypropylene type...

Removing Rusted Sparkplugs by Michael Horowitz
Folks - I'd like to remove my plugs and see how they look. Externally, they look like they may be rusted in place - don't know for sure, havn't tried to undo one. Any suggestions on how to approach the possibility they may be rusted in place? Lots of penetrating oil? - Mike

KR-20 manual by Juan Jimenez
For those of you who may find a need for this (which probably won't be too many of you), I put my copy of a KR-20 marker beacon receiver install and op manual (with pinouts, that's why I put it up), on the site. You can download a small PDF file at http://www.bd5.com/kr-20.pdf Juan

Hatz Yahoo Group by Scott
I'm a Hatz Classic builder and for the last few months, I and other Hatz builders have been unable to access the forum on the Hatz Biplane Association web site. Out of frustration and the need to communicate with other Hatz builders, I created a Yahoo Group called Hatz_Biplane. The new Yahoo Group...

Weld over brazing by Michael Horowitz
This is not aircraft related. I did some brazing on a tank and then later decided it would have been easier to have welded. I read somewhere that one should not attempt to weld over brazing. I assume becase the brazing material melts at a lower temp than the base metal, that welding over a braze...
