WTB: VW Parts for Homebuilt Airplane by
Alan C. Lail
I am in need of Type I VW parts for my WW1, replicate airplane.
Exhaust system -- prefer a 2 to 1 system, but a good 4 to 1 would work
equally well for my application
Intake system -- to fit a Zenith Carb
Reduction drive -- prefer a Valley Redrive 1.6 to 1 -- will entertain any
others
Thanks
Alan

aircraft financing duration help by
news.det.sbcglobal.net
Hello:
Am doing some preliminary research into airplane ownership and am curious as
to the length of time one can get a loan for a used airplane. Is it like a
house or boat, where you can finance it for 20 - 30 years; or is it like a
car, with 5 - 6 year loans. Also, if anyone knows the current...

AirMap® 2000C by
Kai Glaesner
Jay,
Jim Weir rated it "Best of Show" at his forum -- but only because Jim
forgot
to look at the new AvMap.
In the past I saw some discussion about connecting AvMap EKP's to Jeppesen
FliteStar on the AvMapNavigation homepage (by the way, it works with almost
every Garmin unit ;-). Does anyone...

Ever heard of Nearly-New Airplanes, Inc.? by
The Rainmaker
I'm considering a '73 Cherokee-6 that's been refurbished by Nearly-New
Airplanes; it looks great.
I can't find anything on Nearly-New Airplanes, Inc. They are supposed to be
in Fort Lupton, Colorado, but I can't find a phone number or web page.
Any ideas?

Restricted Airworthiness by
Brad Mallard
I am looking to upgrade from my Cessna 150 to a 172. I have found one I
like and not too expensive. While I was pulling up some data on the plane, I
found that it has multiple Airworthiness Certificates. One of these says
standard, and one says restricted. Does anyone now what this means?
