Rare aircraft types photograhed by
Bob
I came across a photoguide to aircraft in the UK, it's not well advertised
so you may not have seen it. http://www.ukskies.co.uk. It's got hundreds
of aircraft types so it's worth a look.
Does anyone know of any other good sites?

Ratio of lease/purchase in general aviation? by
Sunho
Among various options of buying/using a Cessna 172 or Cirrus Design
SR22 or any other similar light aircraft, roughly how many percents
fall under each category below?
The options I know a
- Outright purchase: you pay the whole cost of the aircraft upfront
and own it
- Loan/purchase: you...

RC Allen Gyros by
Paul
Sometime back I got tired of fighting Aircraft Quality Instruments trying to
get a Gyro Horizon that worked, so I purchased a new RC Allen Horizon. This
was April of 2002.
Guess what--- the horizon failed in flight last week. The warrantee was one
year. Upon removal, I found a part rattling around...

RCA in for MX20 or other MFDs by
Dico
Hi There,
I'm wondering if the MX20 or other MFDs have the capability to output a
signal from a line-in, like a DVD player or what have you.
It would be ideal to have the RCA (the red, white, yellow) inputs on
the front of your panel and just plug in an IPOD video and then
watch/listen to...

"The Muse" by
OtisWinslow
I have one. It works fine for what it's intended to do. I think
an intercom with a music input would probably be a better plan.

(RST Engineering, Please read!) "The Muse" by
H.P.
In other words, the volume of the music audio has to
be fairly high, or the Muse will cut out during softer parts of a song.
The audio output device needs a compression circuit to keep audio levels
more near a constant output. There are portable cd players out there that
have such a...

1963 Cessna 182 by
Ray Andraka
Not a Cessna, but I updated my Cherokee Six panel to a T configuration at the
same time I updated the gyros (It had the original 1965 gyros) utilizing the
existing panel cutouts. As I recall, the cost over the new gyros was about 2
hours of additional shop time. The advantage of using the...

A few questions for a new (hopefully) ower by
Ray Andraka
I have a 1965 Cherokee Six that had the original gyros and scatter shot layout
as well as fuses when I bought it. I used the existing holes but rearranged the
instruments into a T panel when I replaced the gyros with modern units. The
additional cost for moving the other instruments was small...
