Zenith CH 300 kit by
DougK
I am curious to know if anyone is interested in a Zenith CH 300 kit,
partially
assembled.
Several years ago, a friend had started to build a CH
300 but changed his mind and went on to build and
finish an RV-9A. I volunteered to poke around the
'net for him.
If there is anyone who might be...

markings on Screw Pitch Gauge? by
Alan Horowitz
I've got an old screw pitch gauge that I inherited. There's no mfr's
name marked on it, just "Number 137".
the individual leaves are marked with two numbers each, but these
numbers are not reciprocals. The first number is always a small
integer which I presume is threads-per-inch.
the second...

LEDs for Nav Lights - Jim Weir by
Scott Gettings
Jim & the group:
Most of us know how expensive navigation lights are for our aircraft.
When building in wingtip lights, many of us don't need the fancy light
housings that come with most STC'd light systems.
I've followed and enjoyed Jim's previous work on panel LEDs and various
topics over the...

Petition for keeping one Concorde flying by
Paul Sengupta
Don't know if you know about this, but the petition to keep Concorde
flying is going to change. The emphasis is now going to be on keeping
one airworthy to be used at airshows, etc.
If you want to sign the petition (anyone that signed the old one will
automatically be carried over to the new one)...

DL152279546231
I am thinking of getting into a new homebuilt project but I wonder where to get
accurate numbers of how many of a particular design are flying or where I might
see some examples of the kit I am thinking of building. Does the EAA keep a
record of the kits flown into the big fly-ins Oshkosh or...

Restoring Fiberglas Wheelpants by
jls
New at this am I so how about a little advice here? First of all I have
already washed one of the two wheelpants and it was filthy with oil, grease,
5606, rottweiler pi**, and ramp dreck, so the washing took a long hour
scrubbing and rinsing. I'm thinking that when the sanding and paint
removal...

Sun N Fun Flight Line Access & Tickets? by
DL152279546231
Last time I went to Sun N Fun was in 1990 and I think back then you had to be
an EAA member or pilot to get out to the homebuilt parking area. I plan to take
my 75 year old Dad. I am not a current EAA member anyone know what the current
rules are? How about ticket prices or a schedule of events? I...

Cutting Lexan? by
Scott
If I cut Lexan on a bandsaw, what is the best way to sand out the cut marks
along the cut line? Sand paper? File? I want to make a new windshield and
the cut edge will be the top of the windshield (open cockpit).
