Odyssey Battery-Jerry Springer by Badwater Bill
Okay Jerry, I took your advice and spent $135 bucks today for an Odyssey 16 Amp-hr dry cell that weighs 15 pounds (the 680). I cut the aluminum for a bracket on the gyroscope to mount it but I gotta get Kevin to TIG weld it later today. As far as the battery goes, I hope that MOFO spools me up...

The Little Wheel in Back by Veeduber
Real airplane, the fan is in the front. The little wheel is in the back. That is, if it has a little wheel. Started out, we just had a skid. Nowadays, lotsa folks frown on skids. But if you're into Flying On The Cheap there's a lot to be said for a skid. The main purpose of putting ANYTHING...

18mm plugs by w b evans
Just a reminder that here's a place to get great 18mm plugs so you don't have to get the aviation type for big $$. Got quite a few hours on them in my Pietenpol. They are name brand (champion) and most are $2.00 apiece. Even got some of the snazzy wire that pokes out behind the eyebrows on...

A Brilliant Idea by nafod40
While sipping my cold suds and laying on the beach, I had opportunity to watch the banner tows cruise up and down the strip. Looking at my fellow beach-goers, I noticed they stopped looking up at the tows after the first few have gone by. It was then, due to a seredipitous mixture of beer and...
