Flight Cheetah by
doogiedoc
Anyone have flight cheetah? I'm trying to get weather and GPS without having to install boxes permanently (i.e. I don't need IFR approved.) Airgator also seems to be pretty good but the features of flight cheetah seem outstanding. They appear to have both WxWorx and Orbcomm as options...what's...

Flight of the Gin Fizz by
Henry Kisor
My 1997 book "Flight of the Gin Fizz," about following Cal Rodgers's 1911 transcontinental hop across the U.S., is now out as Kindle and Nook ebooks. Google "Kisor Kindle Gin Fizz" or "Kisor Nook Gin Fizz," and you'll get there.
Or go to www.henrykisor.com/ginfizz .

Flight Star or Destination Direct by
Scubadooo
Does anyone have an opinion on these two products?
I am debating between Flight Star and Destination Direct.
They are both desktop flight planning software that seem to have their
individual benefits.
Price is not the issue here, only user friendliness and graphics.

HoytCRX32
Installed Stereo/Mono Flightcom 403 Intercom in my Aztec C. Is it normal for the intercom that goes through the King Audio Panel to come over the inside speaker?

FLIGHTSOFT and VISTA by RMS Technology by
Marv Hamm
Any comments by users of the latest versions of FLIGHTSOFT and VISTA
from RMS Technology for use with a PC?
I would primarily be using it VFR in a 172. The ability to scan your own
maps for use with their software is an appealing feature.
It would be nice to be able to use the "Course up / Track...

Foamy's got kids! by
Michael Baldwin, Bruce
The goat parents aren't very happy. Let's hope Foamy doesn't molest
them just yet or he'll also become a pedophile!

followup pirep on Knots 2U wing root fairing by
Bob Noel
Previously I had posted that I didn't clearly notice any effect from
the installation of a Knots 2U Wing Root Fairing kit on my cherokee 140.
As part of my BFR I did some slow flight and stalls today. One difference
with the wing root fairings is that it was waaaay easier to fly with the stall...
