Chris W
I was channel surfing the other day and caught the tail end of some show
about rich people and their planes. Anyway the pilot of this one single
engine turbo prop said there was no mechanical connection between the
prop and engine. How can that be?

Debating whether to take the exams since I just passed the CFI written.
Do many people actually use the AGI these days outside of established
flight schools and other large operations?

Lancair crash at SnF by
Big John
AW&ST today had a small article that a Lancair piloted by Gerand
Schkolnk crashed moments after takeoff during the Sun and Fun AirShow.
He was director of Supersonic Technology Programs at Gulfstream.
Anyone have any data on accident other than what AW&ST had?

local airports to hit. Will be coming from the west (Wisconsin) in a
Cirrus and can go IFR or VFR. My wife & I will be on vacation staying
in the city so the convenience of commute is not terribly important -
an hour each way...
