iGlide by
John Foster
I just recently downloaded the "lite" version to play around with, and so far it is OK. However, I'm curious if some of the features I would like in it are just things that are in the higher level version like the "advanced" or "pro" version. For instance, when I look at the flight log, it...

Spray insulation for aluminum trailers by
[email protected]
How does one go about having insulation installed inside an aluminum trailer?
Are there specific spray-on materials that are commonly applied that auto repair/painting shops would know how to work with? Are there some specific materials one should avoid? Seems like the material needs to be...

Centrair Pegase in the US by
Hans Bodde
Hi,
I've read a couple of scary messages about the Centrair Pegase having a max limit of 3000h because of a glitch in translations of manuals.
Does this still hold true, and if yes... (here comes...) are these going to be just fine when they get back to an EASA certification?
Kind...

Looking for HP14 Plans by
[email protected]
Does anyone out there have a set of hp14 plans gathering dust in some back corner of your garage or hangar? I could sure use them to help in a restoration project. I would buy them or pay to have them scanned or pay for shipping postage from anywhere .
Thanks, Dan

Test results LiFePO4 glider batteries after 6 years by
SF
I started using K2 LiFeP04 batteries in my glider in 2010. I have had excellent results with these batteries. The electronics, especially the radio, enjoy staying above 12V, and I've never run out of power inflight with them..
This winter after taking some of the instruments out to have them...

US Standard Nationals -- Day 1 by
Retting
With a stiff breeze out of the north, the fleet was launch about 12:50 pm with the gate opening at 13:46. 6+ kt climbs out the top were the norm with most everyone starting quickly feeling that the day would soften around 16:30 to 1700.
The first run was out to the WSW into a scattered field of...
