Ignoring the Challenger? by robert arndt
Some info on the Challenger II MBT: http://www.fprado.com/armorsite/chall2.htm Not a bad tank at all. I think Forecast International places it as Number 4 in the world (behind the Leopard 2A6, M1A2, and Japanese Type 90). Rob

Ejecting from a B-58 by Stuart Chapman
Thanks for the link.... I knew about the escape capsule, I'm just interested in anecdotes of it actually being used in service....especially over water. BTW it was interesting THREE separate opening canopies....For some reason I assumed the pilot and navigator sat side-by side. Your photo shows...

Yeah, I got that one... by Wade Meyers
Thanks, though. I have a specific composition in mind, and luckily I have some EXCELLENT crystal-clear aerials taken in 1994 by the RAF. Got them from the troops who arranged my visit last year. I have in mind a composition featuring a very famous aircraft making a right turn to final on the...

Algerian C-130 down by David Bromage
At the time of writing the earliest news reports on this were on the wires 14 hours ago, but so far no mention on ram. BBC reports an Algerian C-130 has crashed 18 miles of Algiers, killing 4 crew and at least 8 people on the ground. Cheers David

FS Luftwaffe books by Gordon
That book, "Heaven Next Stop" really doesn't belong with the rest. Its far more of a novel than any sort of a history book - they even put "Impressions of a Fighter Pilot" on the old cover, as a soft way to let readers know they are dealing with claims that simply do not line up with facts. ...

Has anyone checked out the ACIG forum at ACIG.org? Seems some punk from the PRC hacked into it and put a pro-PRC/Maoist page instead of the forum-obviously somebody with WAY too much free time on his hands. Stuff like this makes one wish hacking was a capital offense. Posted via...
