Foam cored plywood by
[email protected]
I recall a past Kitplanes coverage of a replica P-38 aircraft. The
designer/builder used foam cored plywood strips to build at least the
pilots nacelle, pics were included. Has anyone used this material, and
knows where to order it, and rough cost?
Thanks,
JHG

it was no longer available on the server. ?
Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for quite a while to get an

Foil antenna and carbon fiber by
BD5ER
My Internet search didn't turn up what I was looking for so I came here for
advice. The task at hand is the installation of a foil antenna in a composite
canard which would ordinarily be a rather routine task for the plane - a
Quickie - but in this case there are some carbon fiber rods at 25% chord...

Foil Antenna on Carbon Fiber by
Dennis Mountains
I'm building a carbon fiber airplane and understand that the carbon is too
opaque to radio signals to use antennas inside the carbon. (The wing tips
are E-Glass and come with navigation antennas already installed.) For
communication, marker beacon, and transponder antennas, I'm wondering why...

Folding wing for Ercoupes? by
Montblack
Fix the high cost High Cost of Sportplanes
"Any mass produced successful sport aircraft today ought to have
folding wings, whether it's trailered or if it goes in a community
hanger. There is a folding wing mod for the venerable Ercoupe (it's
STC'd or their equivalent in Canada, I'm not sure...

Folding Wings on a Sonerai II by
JR
I see how the roots of the wing are held on the spar but I can't figure out
how the wings are held up in the rear.
My Sonerai has an eyelet under the fuselage. But what else do I need/ A
pipe? Hook? clamp?

Foley by

What makes you think fags like Foley have more of an attraction to kids
than heterosexuals? The sex offender data does not support that. Damn
"praying" for Foley. I can't see a lot of use in chanting superstitious
magic spells and waiting for results. Just make sure he never gets
elected again

Fon du lac fees by
pittss1c
I made a stop at Fon du lac on the way to Oshkosh this year.
I bought fuel, paid my bill and left.
Yesterday I got a bill from the City of Fon du lac wanting $10 for parking.
There wasn't anything posted, nothing mentioned by the FBO...
Has it always been this way?

For Jim Weir: Transponder Installation by
Ron Wanttaja
Hey, Jim, I've bought a Microair T2000 to replace the bum transponder in my
Fly Baby. A couple of questions:
1. The instructions say not to install the antenna within one meter of the
unit. What's the limiting factor here? I always prefer short cable runs,
and had a nice spot picked out 15 or...

For Sale - Cleveland wheels and brakes by

We have these on our Glasair right now and are swapping them out for
Matco's to get better stopping as they are undersized for our weight

stall speed, like an RV for instance. They actually work O.K. for the
Glasair but we...
