Can anyone help with info and/or pics of an RB-47H? I'm building the 1/144

assigned to the 343rd SRS, 55th SRW at Forbes AFB, KS. I have a friend from

David Townend
The second printing of "Military Aircraft Designations and Systems" is still
available. We were out of print soon after our October 2002 printing so it
is good to have copies available again. We are also able to hold the
original price, too. Military Aircraft designations
catalogued from 1913 to...

Bernhard Rohrer
Hi
how do people rate the Embraer military models EMB 145 AEW&C and the EMB 145
RS/AGS? I know the formar uses the Erieye radar so it should be quite good.

banked pilots by
mah
During the early 90's there were more pilots than flight slots and some
were "banked" for future needs and assigned to nonflying duties. When
did they all get returned to flight duty?
I was looking for information but couldn't get a good result from a web
search.
Thanks
MAH

In Flight Failure by
Charles Talleyrand
I read that an F-14 has a mean time between equipment failure of 0.6 hours and other
aircraft are similar. The F/A 18 has a mean time of 2.5 hours per failure. I conclude
that the average F-14 flight of 3 hours has 5 equipment failures, and that half of all F-14
flights of 3 hours have more than...

The Guardian: unreported cost of war by
Gooneybird
OTOH, approximately 100 incidents occurring in some 160,000 troops hardly makes
an epidemic. That these occurrences are unusual is undeniable; however, their
causation is more likely environmentally based than weapon inflicted, as some
people are suggesting. The widely separated and random nature...

As some of you may know, I'm in the process of restoring

I recently got an ALR/56(?) countermeasures display for the
project. Unfortunately, none of my reference materials say
much about this display.
Can someone tell me what the small...
