How long can you reserve an N-number? by
Carl Orton
If one wanted to reserve a unique N-number while they were building a plane,
how long can you keep renewing the reservation (understanding you'd have to
pay a fee each time)?
I thought it was for only a year or so, but faa.gov makes it sound like you
can renew at least once, but didn't see an...

Life Insurance Coverage in Experimental Aircraft? by
Carl Orton
It's Saturday, so I haven't had a chance to call my agent, but my wife
brought up a question that may nix me building an airplane.
If I die in my homebuilt aircraft, does my life insurance pay out? My
policy covers me if I pilot an aircraft, but for the life of me I have no
idea if there's an...

Sirius Aviation? Recent Experiences? by
Carlos Reyes
I saw that Sirius Aviation (www.sirius-aviation.com) had trouble
fulfilling orders 2-3 years ago. Can anybody comment on the current
situation? Has anybody purchased spruce from them recently?
I'm having trouble getting in touch with them (phone and e-mail), and
I'm not sure what to make of...

Propeller Balance Master by
Casey Curtis
Has anyone used the propeller balance master and have you had good success?
I would like to try one on a pusher 912 with a two blade prop. I can't seem
to get the owner at www.balancemasters.com to call me back and answer my
questions. Any input sure would help.
Thank you
Casey

experimental engine-subaru by
Cautious
Does anyone have any advice concerning Subaru 6cyl engines? I understand
that the SOHC is preferred because of weight and simplicity, but I don't
know what year/model cars these were in. I have heard that the 6 cyls are
2.7L and 3.3L but can't find much more info; any comment would be
apreciated....

Spruce by
Caveat Empty Headed.
I've located a source of spruce in British Columbia that appears to be very
good. http://www.timberwright.ca/aircraft.html
anyone dealt with them?
This is for Spars, BTW.

Warning for Earthlink users by

It seems like Earthlink has a serious email security problem.
I run full screens for my pop3 email service.
That means that if you are not on my list of
approved senders your email will be quarantined
until I approve it. It has worked well for years.
Yesterday I found an email on my machine...
