Cambridge 302 USB Driver? by NG[_2_]
Anybody successful in connecting a Cambridge 302 to a laptop using the new USB port? The instructions say that the laptop should find the necessary driver on the device, mine does not, says it can not find driver software for DLP-TXRX, and that's as far as I can get. Is it possible to get the...

Oxygen bottle for ASW 27 and ASG 29 by [email protected]
Does anyone have a spare steel (D) O2 bottle they would sell? It needs to be 108mm (4.25") or less in diameter. John Murray found us one but we need two more. They vary considerably in diameter and the Mfg. is not interested in sorting out a few smaller ones for our use. Thanks. Dale Bush

Anyone know of a source for new l'hotellier fittings? I received an email from the son of an home builder in the Ukraine asking about a source for these fittings. He found my name from my web site where I described adding wederkind sleeves to l'hotellier fittings on a DG glider. One possible...

Sky Full of Heat book by Sebastian Kawa - update by Paul Remde
Hi, Today I received the first proof of the soon to be released book "Sky Full of Heat" by Sebastian Kawa. The proof is nearly perfect, so the book should be out in large quantities in a week or 2 or 3. I have only skimmed through the book, but it looks very, very interesting. I anticipate...

Powering Mio In The Cockpit by Dan Marotta
While I had my panel apart the other day, I noticed the RJ jack in the back of the 302. Since I had half a Cambridge cable, I plugged it in, powered up, and measured voltage across the red and black leads - 5v! I took a standard USB cable that fits the Mio, cut it, and measured the red and...

2-33 question by Pete Brown
Our 2-33 has an original dual Schweizer probe on the nose bowl. One of the probes is pitot but I can not figure out if the other is the static or a TE probe of sorts. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks Pete Brown --

Book recommendations on weather please by smithcorp
G'day I'm a student glider pilot, just post-solo, looking for a good book on meteorology for gliding that my wife can give me for my birthday. Since Wallington's Meteorology for Glider Pilots is out of print and available copies are prohibitively expensive, I'd appreciate recommendations for other...

You all will be pleased to know that I got silver duration today. The old Cherokee II and I were launched just after noon and landed around suppertime. Lift was strong in central Iowa today. 3-500 fpm was the norm. My best climb came at about 4:50 PM with a 600 fpm climb up to 8700 MSL, about...

Serial Connector for Compaq Aero 1500 series by [email protected]
I think I finally tracked down the serial connector for 1520's & 30's. www.mouser.com Part #656-DA1P018M91 which is JAE 18-pin wire to board connector DA1P018M91. $6.25 each. Can anyone confirm this is correct? Thanks.

Multi - probe by KP
Hi All Our club G103 has a muli-probe and when you slide the probe in you cannot feel the "O"rings, it basically falls in. It must be leaking, pitot / static / TE?! What is the best way to replace the rings? Were do I get them? Ken (KP)

Admit your lie, tommy by Lennie the Lurker
No facts, just an ego. Dig in google, the final straw of the down and drowning. Just admit it, tommy boy, you shot off your overstuffed ego and oversized mouth, and my foot is in it. I even made sure that you were insinuating what I thought you were, and you swallowed the hook, line and sinker. ...
