Flarm data on iglide by
[email protected]
Is there a configuration file that I need to make the contest numbers show up with the flarm data in iGlide? I see the traffic, altitude, etc, but I’m getting the ICAO designator instead of the contest number. I believe you have to configure the displays separately from the core, but does...

Hello to everyone on the forum.

as well.
I'm looking to buy my first glider at the moment and noticing a lot of
gliders for sale near the 3000 h...

Colibri V1 by
Phil Chidekel
Hi All,
I have been having a bit of trouble with my Colibri V1. The date and time seem to be stuck in October 1996, even after GPS reception is established. I believe the only adjustable part of this data is the time zone, which is adjusted correctly.
The logger was working perfectly two weeks...

Seattle Class B changes? by
Tuno
I have a report that recent changes in Seattle's Class B are not
reflected in published airspace data (including justsoar.com).
The only evidence I can find of a recent change is in the Federal
Register which mentions an effective date of Dec...

Two recent incidents by
Uncle Fuzzy
Sorry if this is boring, but the last discussion pretty much focused
on the release / rudder waggle. I can't get to the NTSB report just
now, but I seem to recall reading in the report on the OTHER incident
(loose hand held radio blocking forward stick movement) that the pilot
released, still...

Filser ATR-500 by
Roger Fowler
I am thinking of buying a Filser ATR-500 comm radio
for our club. Does anyone have any experience with
it, especially reliability and repair-wise?
I like the idea that it just plugs in where the previous
ATR-57 was. But I am concerned because the ATR-57
has to go back to the factory for repair...

This and That by
Ray Lovinggood
Two questions:
1. As I load my car for a trip to the airfield for
one day of flying, I wonder how the families loaded
up for a week or two of competition, back in the day
when families went to the competition. From the book
about Dick Schreder, written by his daughter (an EXCELLENT
book, by the...

Baro/GPS disagreement by
[email protected]
I'm a little baffled at the huge difference between my GPS altitude
and the pressure altitude when I get up high. Yesterday on the
ground, I showed around 10 feet difference between the GPS altitude
and the pressure altitude. Up around 17000 feet, the GPS indicates
over 1000' higher. I also noted...
