Dear Group, I was talking to a paint guy who paints airplanes. He is going to paint my glider in PU or AU (After I do all the prep work of course). He ask if I would like to use a clear coat. Someone else with an aviation background ask if a clear coat would work better than a single stage. I know...

Some dudes and their home made winch............ by Marc
Look like they may achieve first launch in early spring. This needs nowhere near the level of technical sophistication exhibited by Bob K. and Brad H., but as my high powered mechanical devices usually involve some number of rubber bands, this is a huge leap: http://www.ranlog.com/winch/ A lot...

Reno Convention attendee's by [email protected]
Just an FYI the snow in the Sierra's is in pretty good shape after the recent storms. So if you are a skier/snowboarder take some time to explore the local resorts. Mount Rose the nearest to Reno is only 30min drive from conference hotel. Cheers

FS Zaon MRX Collision Avoidance by bumper[_4_]
No longer need this excellent and small PCAS as its functions are included in the PowerFlarm I've just installed. IMO, no question the PF is the best answer for practical collision avoidance in gliders. But if for whatever reason you won't be buying one, then this Zaon MRX is the next best thing...
