CD adapter for headsets by Chris
Often when browsing catalogs I've seen wire adapters that allow a music source (CD/MP3 player) to be plugged into your headset. I'm not talking about electronic devices such as PS Engineering's "The Muse", but just the basic physical wire harness. Does anyone know if these are simply an audio jack...

Audio Pannel Backlighting by John Roncallo
Hello I'm trying to find out if the Audio Pannel in our Clubs 81 C172 should have back lighting or not. I dont know who makes it since there is no name on the audio panel. But it uses a row of up and down toggle switches to flip between functions and it has the marker beacon light built in. Every...

Airvan aircraft by John Pelchat

I have seen nothing in the aviation publications about this aircraft. Does anyone here know anything about it beyond what is on...

Why No N-Number in FAA Database? by Carl Orton
Hi all; Checking into my first plane purchase, and have a question for you that I'm not sure of. I found a plane. I have not seen the registration cert (haven't looked for it). The N-number is *not* in the FAA aircraft registry database.

ARC cessna transponder information wanted by dave
i'm working on a plane and his RT459A transponder is not working properly. I would suspect that it may be cheaper to replace than to fix it. Are all the ARC transponders interchangeable? If not, which ones are/aren't? Are there any replacement transponders that will fit the tray? Thanks Dave
