Any alternative to Europa XS? by
Shin Gou
I am looking for a design with: 100-120hp engine, 600lbs plus useful
load AND the baggage room for the load capacity, 130miles plus
cruising speed. The useful load should be the real one already in use,
not on paper.
Seems Europa XS meets these requirement and can be much faster, though
the useful...

Looking to jump in feet first - but don't want to land on my arse by
BoscoBob
I am looking to start a homebuilt project in 2004. My new career keeps me at
home with much free time during the day, and a two-car garage at my
disposal.
I have researched many different companies and aircraft
(http://www.homebuilt.org/kits/kits-acftdesc.html) and have pretty much made
up my mind...

Help ID some aircraft I saw at Oshkosh by
butch burton
First there was a Navy carrier based fighter, designed to get up to
altitude in just minutes to take on the kamakazies. A gentleman in
his 80's described this high performance bird in glowing terms. What
is the name of this bird.
Next I am trying to find out the name of a new 6 place kit...

Rebuilding my KR-2 by
Forrest
Still getting to know my airplane. It's dimensions are not the same as
either the KR-2 or the 2S. Still figuring out how I'm going to weigh the
thing. Probably stack the parts on two or three scales then weigh the
engine. I'll come up short of what the cowling would weigh since it was
junky,...

Why is this so familar? by
John Ammeter
I'm currently in the same situation. I bought a Cendyne DVD burner,
advertised with a $30 rebate. The company was already in bankrupcy at
the time of the sale. What can be done about that? They were
advertising a drive with a rebate that there was no chance of getting
back.
That's...

Need advice on Aeroquip fittings by
Corky Scott
I'm trying to morph a 3/4" outside diameter tube to an aeroquip
fitting so I can run 3/4 inside diameter aeroquip hose to an oil tank.
Here's the thing, this fitting will be welded to a 3/4" diameter tube
so it needs to be steel.
In addition, I'd like to find a flat steel fitting, a bung, that I...
