'Room Temperature' by
Anthony
That's a valid point and room temp beer in the UK often is fresh from the
cellar where temps are certainly lower. I didn't think a still Lucas joke
would stir things up so much, I expected the Canadian hockey joke would have
gotten more attention. ;o)

Battery cable selection by
[email protected]
I am putting two 12V batteries together
http://www.batterymart.com/p-hawker-sbs-J16-aircraft-battery.html
to make a 24V battery.
What size cable should I use to make the serial connection?

Thanks,
Karl

Which sport/acro biplane from plans? by
Mr.Twistair
A guy here who doesn't speak English asked me to investigate which aircraft
he should choose to build from plans.
What he wiches:
- single or 2-seat
- limited aerobatics
- engine M14P or Valter M332/337
I can also assume that he isn't the big-buck one. I know that this question
was discussed here...

Collins TDR-950 connector pin numbering by
MaxGain
Anyone know how the pins on a TDR-950 transponder connector are
numbered? As you are looking at the connector from the back of the
unit, left to right? Right to left?
Thanks.

Dyke Delta contact by
THEByleDuct
Hi all,
I'm looking for a way to contact Dyke Aircraft to purchase a set of plans for the Dyke Delta. I thought I had found the right email address but there has been no response from them. Does anyone know if they have stopped selling the plans? The Delta Builders Network is no longer up...

HP-18 project flown 1500 hours with trailer by
Victor Bravo
Up for auction on ebay now is an HP-18 project. It has flown 1500 hours
but needs a complete rebuild. It NEEDS either wing contouring or use it
as a "quickbuild" kit for a Super-18 with the fuselage, tail, wing
spars and controls already built. Comes with a very good Gehrlein open
heavy duty...

BllFs6
Hi all...
The discussion about aluminum vs composites and running across some stuff on
the hummel bird got me thinking...

The hummel bird and tennie two - aluminum construction....
The Cri Cri - mostly aluminum?

Rear engine in a crash question by
BernadetteTS
I've been reading through the BD-5 thread and have a question.
I guess this is an opinion thread but what happens to a rear engine
mounted directly behind the pilot in a crash? In something like an
ultralight, BD-5, Cutiss pusher or Vari-EZ does an engine have a
tendency to rip loose and go...

Hughes Racer Replica Lost by
Wayne Sagar
It would appear that the wonderful Hughes Racer Replica has been lost
in a crash in Yellowstone Park.
My prayers go out to everyone involved with this project. Jim Wright
was one of the nicest people I've ever met.

Advice, please: too old to fly? by
R.W. Behan
There can be no better source of advice than this group for my question: am
I too old to take up flying--and building an airplane?
Full disclosure. As a young man in the Korean War I was an aviation
machinist's mate in the Navy. As a forestry student in the late '50's I was
a smokejumper, so I...

Lightspeed -- Was:Oshkosh 2003 Redux by
Jack McAdams
Everything was trimmed!! (-;
Counterpoint to the Lightspeed QA 'issue':
I have a 20XL and a 30XL. Both have performed flawlessly from the day
I got them. Maybe I'm just lucky, but that never happens! To be fair,
I don't listen to music in the air so I am unqualified to comment on
the audio...
