Pulsar with a turbine? by
Badwater Bill
Anybody ever think about putting a SOLAR turbine on the front of a
Pulsar? Ric Stitt tells me his planetary transmission will drive a
prop at 3000 rpm as a constant rpm output from the SOLAR. At about
150 hp and using the prop at constant rpm with varying pitch, that
baby ought to go Vne in level...

I have a device (of my own design) hooked into my pitot-static

The problem is it is too hard to remove. (And I have to remove
it often since my device is still under development).
What kind of fitting could I put into the line to make it...

Electrical Relay Help by
Jeff
I have a 12v DC linear actuator, it just has 2 wires coming from the motor.
If I connect the red wire to the positive terminal of the battery and the
black to the negative, the motor extends. When I reverse the wires the
motor retracts. The motor draws about 5 amps. Pretty straight forward...

37 degree flare, 1/8" stainless by
Richard Riley
I need to make a dozen 37 degree flares in 1/8 stanless line for a
brake system. My flaring tool only goes to 3/16. Spruce has the
"Rolo-flare" tool that goes to 1/8" for $80 or so, but they say it's
not for use with stainless. OTOH, the other vendors that carry the
Rolo-flare don't say anything...

B25flyer
I may not be a high time pilot but there aren't many people about
whom three training captains at American Eagle have said flies better than
90% of captains they train on the ERJ and Saab.
And I had three JAL training captains tell me I could fly a 747 better than
moooozer.

Been ripped by AS&S deceptive freight pricing??? by
Kenny Danielson
On a recent shipment AS&S charged $55 for a shipment that should have cost
approx $31-35 according to UPS. AS&S can't explain the charges nor admit
they are wrong. I suppose they feel UPS is mistaken.
Anyone else experience this deception?
