"All-terrain" main wheel dolly by
Bastoune
All - I am looking for an "all-terrain" wheel dolly for a 15M glider main wheel. I am familiar with the GoJack type products (http://www.zendextool.com/gojak/ ) but unfortunately, the size of the casters will not handle gravel surface. Tires will probably have to be 10" pneumatic to do the job on...

"Bad" CAI302 Display by
Dan Marotta
Well, I seem to have one. The polarization looks like it's about 45 degrees
off horizontal and, since I bought Eagle Eyes sunglasses specifically for
soaring, I'm disappointed that I can't see the 302 with the glasses on.
So I hit on a crazy scheme... Since Cambridge is no longer with us, I'm...

"Beach Run" trivia question by
Uncle Fuzzy[_2_]
I've been laid up for several days with the flu, and to pass the time (during periods of consciousness) I’ve watched all my glider videos. I was watching “Red Line Sky” today, and I saw a Jantar, callsign Hotel Victor. I know Henryck Birecky currently has a Jantar with that callsign. Does anyone...

"Boy who flew with Condors" now avaliable by
[email protected]
Just wanted to pass on to everyone who might be interested that the
Disney movie "Boy who flew with Condors" is now out on DVD. The
problem is that I think it is only avaliable online through the Disney
Movie Club. I orded a copy yesterday and I should have it in about a
week.

"Budget" suppliers by
[email protected]
Hi there,
Usually I don't like to make any recommendations, but.....I needed my
contest numbers, new registration, my sailplane logo and couple of
"beautifying" pin stripes and such; a company located in Kennewick, WA
under the name of Budget Signs made all that stuff for just $43.71.
That is not...

"datamining" thousands of IGC files by
Tibor
Hi,
are there any open/free tools to datamine on database of many IGC files?
There is a threat that the free airspace for gliding in Slovakia is going to be significantly restricted. We need tools which help prepare arguments about airspace usage and frequency of our flights.
If I was starting...

Charlie Spratt would mention "elephant walks" in his race reports and I have had the fun of participating in such an event during the "Ordeal at Cordele". But now, the Sept 2020 issue of "Air & Space" provides some background on the term. Quoting the article:
"Elephant walk" is a term that traces...
