Glue for wing step grippy thingies by
Steven Barnes
A corner of the wing step "tread" is peeling up on my Cherokee 180. Is there
a particular glue or epoxy to use/stay away from? I can just see a big
chemical hole being eaten right through my wing... ;-)
Thanks!

Connection cable for an IFR GPS by
Doug
I have a King KLN90B and update it with update software from King and
a database from King. My old laptop broke (it fell off the table and
broke the power connection on the inside board, I still have it if
anyone knows how to fix it).
Anyway, I bought a new Toshiba P35 laptop. No RS232 port. No...

Garmin 296. Should I retire my 295? by
Bonza
The new Garmin 296 has been out for about a year now and the fanfare
seems to have subsided. There are seldom any new posts about it.
I was looking to trade in or replace my 295. I have one of the first
ones in my Bonanza and it is a great tool, I'd hate to be without it.
It is 4 years old now...

AI pitch bounce by
Mike Noel
I just noticed today a tendency for my vacuum AI to vibrate a few
millimeters in its pitch axis occasionally, then the movement damps out.
The roll and pitch indication seem to be OK, and the vacuum DG is working
fine. The vacuum guage is at 5.0, right where it belongs. I'm wondering if
this is...

I do some airplane camping each year as well as own a fifth wheel.
I was wondering if something like the RV...

Wierd vibration -- Prop or engine, balance or not??? by
Chuck
Hi guys & gals,
I purchased an older Cherokee 180 with a Lycoming O-360A4A and
Sensitech propeller. Unfortunately, I'm not sure on of the prop model
as I haven't pulled the cone yet.
Since I purchased my Cherokee, there has been a slight vibration in it
while running and flying. The first...

GA friendly airports near ELP & AUS by
ROBIN FLY
I am planning a flight from Los Angeles to New Orleans for some much needed R&R
during holidays. My wife does not like to fly more than two 4-hour legs a day,
so my plan is to fly from EMT to ELP for fuel & lunch than to AUS overnight.
Next morning we continue to NEW. For return trip, we will...

What is the status on cheaper aircraft for the Sports pilot? by
N9NWO
A lot of us can not afford the $100K+ aircraft. Even Taylor is a bit too
expensive at $54K. When can we expect to see something in the $15 to 25K
range?
I will note that I am seeing a lot of used aircraft in that range. I gather
that the market is a bit depressed still.

Special prop to increase manifold pressure by
Fly
Hi Folks!
Was there ever a prop modified with a trailing edge bump for the purpose of
increasing MP at the ram air inlet?
Faint memory is maybe Lopresti marketed a Hartzerll with a trailing edge
tab.
Thanks

It's got a DB-15 and two DB-9 connectors on it. I believe it's a switchbox to
