Glider Import by NZAviator
Hi, I was wondering if anybody has had experience exporting a glider out of Germany or Hungry and whether I am able to recover any VAT from the purchase price. As it stands the cost of these gliders seems to be a little high so wondered if there is something I am missing with tax recovery etc?

Trailer Vent Fan by JJ Sinclair[_2_]
I just checked two trailer vent fans and both were dead. With a little checking I found one had a dead battery and the other had a bad motor. They are both made by NICR and are day/night fans which employ a battery that charges all day, so it can run all night. Why did the battery go dead? I...

General Questions (Trailer/Trailering) by Casey Cox
Good Morning All, I some general questions. I ask club members and value their answers but I like having multiple points of view for I've found that different parts of the country have somewhat different ways of doing things. 1) on older glider in wood bottom trailers, does anyone tie the boom...

ASW19 Inner Tube by [email protected]
I'm looking to buy a spare inner tube for my 19 but I don't have the tube handy to take measurements. I know it's a 500 x 5 with a 90 degree bend in the valve stem but I don't know if I need a long valve stem or a short valve stem. Any assistance is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Scorpion by gkemp
Last night, I was watching the new season premier of "Scorpion", in the U.S.. Much of the action took place in front of and in a hanger of some sort. Outside was a glider trailer and inside what I was sure was a BG-12. Any idea where this was and if I am correct on the glider type? gkemp

Cherokee Kid Rides Again by Tony[_5_]
It's been way too long since I went soaring in the Cherokee. I had it out last year in September for our vintage rally but didn't get a chance to fly it myself as it was flown by friends visiting from out of town. This year I spent most of the season distracted from flying the Cherokee since I was...
