neato tape they had at Oshkosh by [email protected]
They were showing this non-adhesive type tape at Oshkosh and the stuff sure seemed to stick to itself well and seemed to be the ticket for wire bundles, etc. Forgot the name- can anyone help me out here? Can it be bought in the US and if so where? How does this work in the real world (outside...

Ever hear of a Rodman nibbler? by Ed Wischmeyer
My wife saw one of these at AirVenture and thought it would be useful for her projects. I'd never heard of it, and seemed pricey ($180 for a nibbler that attaches to your electric drill, plus some spare cutters.) Anybody got any word on this? thanks Ed Wischmeyer

Beer (was Worst Jokes At Oshkosh) by Dylan Smith
In article , Anthony wrote: Now for a Brit joke. Why do Brits drink warm beer? Lucas refrigerators. Seriously, it's because the beer actually tastes of something (all you get with ice cold lager is the taste of the CO2 and alcohol and not much else)....

Financing a homebuilt by John Skorczewski
Any thoughts on how to finance a homebuilt airplane? I`m thinking about building an rv-10. From what I have heard, expect to pay at least $100,000 (I`m betting it will be more!!!) for a completed plane with 260 hp engine and decent avionics. I don`t know about anyone else, but I don`t have that...

Newbie question on Rate of Climb by Wright1902Glider
LOL! Correct me if I'm wrong, but anything that could climb at 60,000 per minute would probably be powered by a big-ass rocket engine and piloted by someone named Yeager, Crossfield, Glenn, etc... Excepting of course for Burt Rutan's ship. All of us poor-boy hang-glider pilots use electronic...

Have you ever seen/made such a flying handcraft? by Qingpei Hu
Hi, Dear All, I have alwaying been thinking to make a light, tiny, paper(or some other light material) butterfly, that could fly with flapping his wings by some mechanical power engine(like clockwork spring or elasic, or else). While I was a child, I liked playing paper-plane very much. I...

Autogas and high end engines by John Skorczewski
I am new to this group. I know that many low hp engines can get an autogas stc. My question is this: How hard is it to run autogas in 200+ hp engines- say 200 to 300 hp? Both physically and legally?
