WTB CHT probes by
[email protected]
A friend of mine is in need of six sparkplug type of CHT probes. He
bought a engine analyzer with bayonette probes, but his GO-300 won't
accept those.
I think that he bought the JPI one, i'm not sure what flavor probes he
needs.
Anybody have any laying around they would like to part with,...

prop for 1600 cc VW by
dave
I am looking for info as to which prop would be suitable for a Pober Pixie
with a 1600 cc VW. The plane has a 53x38 which is too much for the engine.
I believe that is used on an 1835 cc VW, same plane . Any info or leads to
info would be appreciated.

Another antenna question by
David Wilson
Still looking for an external antenna for my handheld. I am now thinking
about putting it on the back side of the baggage compartment inside of the
fuselage. This is in a wood and fabric airplane. The back of the
compartment is approximately 8"x24" made out of 1/8" plywood. What I would
like to...

Lowrance 2000C vs. AvMap -- comments appreciated by
Thomas Borchert
Jim,
some things I think are missing from the AvMap which, I believe, the
2000c and the Garmin have:
- international database option
- land navigation with turn-by-turn voice instruction
- sea mode

Airman Medical Application by
jls
I flipped out the form and showed it to about 8 airmen at my airport. Most
of them sheepishly admitted to having trouble with the two questions about
criminal records and motor vehicle traffic convictions. None of them would
admit to any rational connection between an airman's medical exam...

Pinckneyville by
Clyde Torres
Can someone on this newsgroup tell me where the Pinckneyville Airport is
that RAHians used to or do gather at? Is it the airport close to Du Quoin,
IL? If there is an annual gathering there of RAHians, when does it occur?
Thanks.

The flight of the Lurker by
Lennie the Lurker
Didn't happen, no towplane. Bad fuel tank in the Pawnee and the only
thing that didn't need it was a kraut Grob 103SL. Not acceptable, in
view that it doesn't work any better than any other german machine
I've ever seen, 50% reliability is outstanding for them. THis Grob
doesn't even meet that,...
