ZLIN 242 by
Klaus Hofmann
Hello,
after one year experience with a 226, I think about replacing it
with a Zlin 242. I have flown 226, 526 and 142 and I know very well,
that the *26 ist the nicer airplane for aerobatics. But there are
little con's which ad up.
- If you (I) fly only a few times per month taildragger, doing...

I was curious if there are any pilots in Eastern Washington that would
like to create glider aerobatic club. What I was thinking about was a
purchase of MDM-1 Fox and some sort of a tow plane. The club members

Pitts Canopy Conversion by
LOKE
Does anyone have experience with the Pitts Canopy conversion available
from AVIAT? It's a bit difficult to determine from their discription
- but it appears that you can configur it so that either the fron or
the back can be covered - or you can fly with both cockpits open. Is
this a proper...

Looping during a commercial flight by
LordAvalon
Does anybody knows of a link where I could find exemples of certified
pilots suspended (or convicted or fined) for hazarduous manoeuvers
during a commercial flight.
I have heard that it is possible to make a lateral looping with a
heavy carrier without the passengers being aware of it (during...

Roll over Beethoven, tell McCartney the news... by
LouiseLane
The most important article you have ever read
"THE BEATLES CAUSED THE DISINTEGRATION OF MANKIND”
The Rock revolution happened in the Sixties (6, number of the Beast). It
came from Liverpool, which was the port base to the Titanic, destroyed by
God because of the arrogant insult of Captain Smith...

My first lesson by
Marco Rispoli
Marco walks to the instructor and introduces himself. Marco is already out
of his mind with terror. Rationality left the premises a long time ago.
The instructor has fangs and horns and a red tail and smells of ozone and
sulfur. He snaps handcuffs on Marco and drags Marco kicking and...

new theory of flight released Sept 2004 by
Mark Oliver
The current theory of flight is based upon the Bernoulli's Principal, the
pressure of a fluid (liquid or gas) decreases at points where the speed of
the fluid increases. The airfoil is designed to increase the velocity of
the airflow above its surface, thereby decreasing pressure above...

how to cope with negative g´s? by
Markus
Hi,
I wonder what you have to say about how to train myself to better cope
with negative g´s!
The problem I have is, that whenever I do a series of (hard) negative
manouvers (say between -5 and -6.5g) I get headache and my face shows a
zillion of small red spots (bursted veins) which disappear...

Info regarding Super Decathlon by
Markus Feyerabend
Hello,
I´m about to start taking aerobatic lessons in a Super Decathlon and would
like to hear any advice regarding the do´s and dont´s and how the Decathlon
flies in general. Don´t get me wrong, I´m not a smartass trying to know more
than my FI, but the comment she made about the roll rate of the...

Pitts Seat Mod by
Martin Morgan
Gidday, I'm new here. If this has recently been covered I appologise!
I'm looking to modify a stock S1-S fuse so that I can lay the seat back
a little more. I know this has been done before, does anyone have any
experience?
I was thinking to replace the cross tube at the top of the seat back
with...

Any Information on Super Stinker (S1-11B) by
Martin Morgan
Gidday.
Does anyone here have any useful information about the Super Stinker
that could help me in my decision about building one?
Yes I've flown S1's and 2(a)'s. I've read Budd Davisson's articles and I
own the plans.
Thanks.

Decathlon engine managment-> power off spins by

What's the best way to manage the engine during the recovery from a
power off spin into another maneuver in a plane like the Super Decatlon
with constant speed prop?
If I have the RPM set to 2400 before reducing power for the stall/spin,
need I worry about overspeeding the engine by adding the...
