Transponder antenna - blade vs stub monopole by
5Z
Any aerodynamic thoughts on the two available choices?
My ASH-26E came with the stub mounted just behind the wheel. Every
now and then it catches on the trailer, so I just straighten it, no
big deal.
An ASW-24B in our club is about to get a transponder and the factory
recommends the installation...

Replacement axle for Eberle trailer by
5Z
A friend just had the axle break on his Eberle trailer. Any thoughts on an easy swap? Or should he rent a flatbed to get it home then take his time to replace it?
He's about 50 miles inside Virginia on I-81 on his way to the DC area.

OLC League 2008 - is it complete? by

Still no rules for 2008 on the OLC website... A query sent a week ago
to help at onlinecontest still hasn't been answered.
Last year there were 19 rounds and we have now completed 19 rounds
this year. So is it over?

MRX PCAS displays wrong code and altitude for my transponder by
5Z
The MRX is mounted on top of the glare shield and the Becker is driving a L2 antenna mounted in the nose of my ASH-26E, just forward of the rudder pedals.
When I squawk 1201, the MRX shows 1236 (or other 12xx code) and the altitude is about 500' lower than what's on the Becker.
Are the antennas...
