Death? by
Ol Shy & Bashful
Looking at 14 days without activity on this forum. Will that qualify as
dead? I think so. I'll be spending my time over on Just Helicopters
from now on and delete this forum from my favorites.

Stev at KSAN
Hello,
I wonder if someone here knows Alan Radecki, the owner of
http://www.mojavebooks.com , a photographer and maybe a pilot.
I ordered from his webshop the book Helicopter Aerodynamics by Ray
Prouty which I could hardly find anywhere else.
My credit card was charged instantly 2 months ago,...

Some friends of mine are going over to Fort Worth (from Sydney) in a couple
of months to do some ground tuition courses at the Bell Helicopter Pilot
Training facility there. I've been asked to come along with them (just for
the fun of it), but I don't want to do the $US1500 (and 5 days)...

distributed home movie type video tape.
Seems Tommy wanted to go to a rock concert being held...

Balancing act revisited. by
Stuart & Kathryn Fields
In a previous post I had problems balancing my tail rotor on my Baby Belle
helicopter and received a lot of feedback on possible causes. I've since
got the bugger balanced and discovered a few things about both mechanical
vibrations and some characteristics of my ship. In the process I found...

Ol Shy & Bashful
I am compiling information on wire strikes for both airplanes and
helicopters. If you have any personal info you'd like to share I'd
appreciate hearing about it. For those who access government sources
perhaps you'll share directions with us? NTSB has sent some info but I
suspect there is a lot...

used r-22 worth it? by
[email protected]
rotor-heads,
I'm a private pilot with about 100 hrs fixed wing, and about 15 hrs in
the R-22 years ago. Sometimes I think about finishing that helicopter
add-on that I started and maybe build a significant number of hours.
I've seen used R-22s, within 300 hrs of refurbishment selling for
40-50k. ...

Eurocopter EC145 LUH by

Posting for someone else:
Can anyone confirm for me the U.S. military designation of the
Eurocopter EC145 Light Utility Helicopter, or LUH, for the U.S. Army?
