2-33 question by
Pete Brown
Our 2-33 has an original dual Schweizer probe on the nose
bowl. One of the probes is pitot but I can not figure out if
the other is the static or a TE probe of sorts. Does anyone
know for sure?
Thanks
Pete Brown

Colibri failures? by
[email protected]
I bought a Colibri data logger in June 2003 and have enjoyed using it
with SeeYou to go over my flights (no badge or record work for me). But
the unit failed in March 2004 with a "Seal Not Valid" message, which
was fixed by returning it to the manufacturer. The unit recently failed
in the same mode...

US SRA Contributions by
Karl Striedieck
Pilots on the US competition ranking list will (or have) be receiving a
request for donations to the SRA. The return address envelope was supposed
to be to the SRA Treasurer (Roy McMaster) but something went astray and the
SSA office became the destination.
If you wish to send your check directly...

FAI GP South Africa 2015 by
Tim[_11_]
I would definitely fly a USA/North American GP - so long as I could find a competitive glider to borrow/rent. Yes, my means keep me stuck in Club Class :-( , but my ambitions are high :-)
You know, there is mostly NOTHING but $$$'s stopping interested US pilots from going overseas and competing...

Colibri logger errors? by
Lars Peder Hansen
Hello,
I have a Colibri logger (3.01) that on two consecutive flights gave me
faulty altitude logging (long periods of fixed altitude, and sudden spikes
to 50.000 ft+) Even though the flight was on April 1st, I tink there is
something wrong ;-) Also, it seems to be able to produce numerous...

Slipping in Turns by
Jim Hendrix
I'm wondering if many people hold a mild slip in turns and why they do it.
Please reply to this post if you do this and give your reason(s).
Thanks,
