Our club has a Delcom Air 960 panel mounted in a Schweizer 2-33. Currently we are using a speaker-mike which jacks into the front of the radio. We would like to wire the radio with a speaker and two microphones. Does anyone know if this configuration is possible with this radio? If so, could...

iSoar - Mac native analysis and planning software by Karl Kunz[_2_]
What file formats are supported. I've been able to figure out a few by trial and error but wonder which ones work best. I entered .cup format waypoints which show up on the map but they do not have any labels.

Water in the cockpit! by Matt Herron Jr.
The manual for my Ventus C states that there are 5 holes in the fin which holds up to 5 liters of water. You tape up one less hole than the liters you want. for example, if you want 3 liters, you tape up the bottom two holes. Now the problem. My Ventus C has 6 holes. More capacity? different...

Amazing Milestone by [email protected]
Back in 1955 Walt Cannon learned to fly gliders at the Schweizer Soaring School in Elmira. As was common then, he soloed in a 2-22. After a time, Bernie Carris decided he was ready for a single seat glider and put him in the then new 1-26. He was the first "kid" to fly a 1-26. Recently I found out...

As i was started to pull apart the rat's nest of wires that is the instrument console on my newly purchased ship, I found that at one point there was a Cambridge CVS-50 or 60 installed, and audio unit (AU-20) was left in the console, unplugged. I have no use for it, free to a good home who is...

standard cirrus stuff wanted by shkdriver
Hey everyone, I'm looking to improve my ground handling gear for a standard cirrus. Does anybody have a really nice tail dolly, I could buy a new one from wings and wheels, but a very nice used one would be as good. Also, I'm working on a disk brake mod that might or might not be approvable, and...

I'm planning to go to the 15M Nationals in Nephi and am looking for a car or truck to rent so that the RV can stay parked for the duration of the contest. Before I go to one of the commercial rental companies to book something, I thought I would see if there are any glider pilots in the Nephi area...

I have a Ventus C and only have the 17.6m tips, and was wondering if there is anyone out there that has the original 15m winglets that they would be willing to part with. From what I understand, Ventus A B and C had the same.

L-Nav question for anyone still using one by akiley
I just started flying an ASW-19b at our club that has an L-Nav, GPS-NAV, Vario combo installed. When I turn the unit on, I get the barro page. I can set the altimeter here but the Go button does nothing. So I can't get to the main screen. Yesterday I gave up, left the L-Nav on. About 3 or 4...

Pawnee PA25 Lead (Pb) contamination by [email protected]
Has anyone ever dealt with lead (Pb) issues in the cockpit of a Pawnee? I recently did a 3M lead test on the surfaces in the cockpit and found high lead readings. I suspect it is related to 100LL fumes coming into the cockpit around the floor in fore of the rudder pedals.

TG-2 and TG-3 restoration by ken bash
I've recently acquired two antique Schweitzer sailplanes. The TG-2 is about 95% complete. The TG-3 frame is in great shape but I will need to build most of the wooden parts. I have partial blueprints, but need to find a complete set or make new ones from measurements of existing components. I...
