Mic light? by
Rod MI
Hi I just found this link to a Mic light and I'm wondering if anyone
has ordered this model from this company and what do you think about
it? I think its a knockoff of the original Mic light.

Runway yes or no [UPDATE] by
James Robinson
Kevin wrote:
The decision to approve or deny a private runway (in Idaho) is based
on the planning and zoning committee. This is amazing to me that a
group of regular folks who know nothing of what it takes for an
airplane to take off or land AND ALSO, the planning and zoning
committee...

Remember chemtrails? by
G.R. Patterson III
Well, it came out in the chemtrails threads that they're comprised of a hazardous
substance called dihydrogen monoxide. California politicos just found out about it.
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - City officials were so concerned about the potentially
dangerous properties of dihydrogen monoxide that they...

Pilot's Funeral/Memorial by
TEW
I am helping to plane a memorial service for a pilot who has died (of
natural causes). To that end, I am looking for ways to personalize a service
for that of one who loved flying.
We'll be doing a video memorial tribute.
The poem High Flight will be used.
I've collected some poems about pilots...

Garmin 196 acting up by
Glenn Westfall
I have a Garmin 196 and just in the past week or so it is acting
strange. I get a signal just fine, but when I am standing still it
constanly changes headings. It never moves in a direction, just turns
in circles sporatically. Once I begin to move, it tracks just fine.
But as soon as I stop, it...

Follow up going through ATL by
Kevin Chandler
Thanks to everyone for help in the best way to get over ATL. I had a total
of 3 hops over the "big" airport and one around it. ATL approach was great
in giving me a clearances (class B and IFR) in the air even though they were
swamped. ATL center helped a lot getting around yesterday's weather. ...

Couldn't Get it Down by

No, this is not a story about Viagra's side effects... ;-)
Amazingly, today dawned clear and sunny -- against all predictions. Thus,
once the kids were at school, it was time for us to head to our favorite

Conditions seemed perfect, but I knew some weather was...

Tonight Show by
Toks Desalu
I couldn't sleep early tonight, so I tuned to the Tonight Show with Jay
Leno. I learned that actress, Angelina Jolie is learning to be a pilot.
According to conversation, Angelina claimed that it is tough learning the
'procedures' and regulations.
Thought that you might want to know this.

Fort Bragg whale festival by
Robert M. Gary
My wife was asking about this festival. Is anyone here flying out
there? Do you fly into Little River? How do you get into town, rent,
taxi ,etc? Does it make sense for a day or do you need to spend the
night?
