Fuel Unporting by over easy
Hello all! I have an infrequent problem with my Acrosport 2 that I can't seem to solve. Sometimes during rolls, inverted flight and some times spins the engine will quit. I always get it to start right back up after a few seconds. It seems like I usually have to change my throttle setting to get...

Sell Google Stocks before they crash! by Wallstreet-Cockpit
Dear Traders, One thing is fore sure, good value stocks will never fall like Amazon.com or Yahoo! during the perfect storm of the internet hype. To give you a small hint about Google, you have to look at the heavy insider trading in this stock. Stocks with the value of more than 15 Billion...

Aerobatics in Toronto area? by pigpen
We have four Pitts S-2B's at CYSH, 25nm southwest of Ottawa, Ontario. We're more in the airshow business than the flight training business, but if there's anything we can do to help, let us know. -- BSc, ATPL, ICAS, SFOC, Class 1 Instructor/Aerobatic...

aerobat by Silent Bob.
Hi all. i have an endorsement for the 152 and 172 - will the aerobat be as much fun as the training flight i did in the citabria? I know probably not *quite* as powerful and efficient, but will i do rolls and loops and leave passengers smiling? Im particularly interestred in aeros pilots who...

C-172 by gt
I own a 1960 Cessna 172 with 2500 hours on the airframe. It is not rated for aerobatic flight, but the positive and negative G loads that it is approved for far exceed the normal G forces associated with a well-executed barrel roll. Has anyone heard of this maneuver being performed in a 1960 172?

Aerobatics in Northern NJ by Andrew Gideon
Going through the archive of this group, I see several posts about aerobatics at Sussex. One mentions a place called Airbatix, while others mention instructors by name. But these posts weren't recent. Is there any aerobatic training going on in Northern NJ now? I know about Van Sant, but I'm...

Compression Tests by Doug
Does anyone do an "automotive" type compression test on their aircraft engine? I think this kind of "dynamic" test might show problems (such as valves not opening all the way), that a leakdown test would not (and vice-versa). Anyway my annual is coming up and I want to do it. I imagine something...

Skybolt Tail Incidence Question by Scott Rodriguez
My set of Skybolt plans call out a starting horizontal stabilizer incidence angle of 0.5 degrees to 1.0 degrees, although IIRC, some years ago folks indicated the actual incidence needed is greater, around 1.5 degrees to 2.0 degrees. Are there any Skybolt drivers out there that know what their...

Pitts Canopy Conversion by LOKE
Does anyone have experience with the Pitts Canopy conversion available from AVIAT? It's a bit difficult to determine from their discription - but it appears that you can configur it so that either the fron or the back can be covered - or you can fly with both cockpits open. Is this a proper...
