Republicans wrecking America by
Garamondextended
Get Bush out and all will be well and we will be a wonderful country again.
Then we can pass an amendment that prevents Repubs from ever holding office
again. Any office.

Hamas Backs Away From Threats Against The US by
Dav1936531
Of course, Hamas were the same people dancing in the streets of the Gaza Strip
on 9-11.
I think they spilled their true intent, vis-a-vis the US, with the threats they
made after the hit on Yassin. GW Bush should not allow them to walk away from
their threats now. Hamas is an enemy.

1925-dirigble target towing by
old hoodoo
I just read that the Shenadoah towed a target for the USS Texas anti-aircraft guns with success. The target was 50' long 10' in
diameter and was peppered by the Texas at 3000 feet. An interesting use for the lighter-than air ship.

PING: Dave Eadsforth by
ArtKramr
Hi Dave,
I finally located my copy of THE NAVIGATORS' INFORMATION FILE (1943) to look up
the oxygen mask designations. The demand mask was listed as the latest in 1944
was called the A-10.It is the one we used in combat. The "spit bag" mask we
used in training was continious flow and had to be set...

JDupre5762
I have been watching the DVD of Dark Blue World the film about Czech fighter
pilots in WW2.
In the first scenes of the movie the pilots are training in Czechoslovakia
before the German invasion. Several of the aircraft are clearly Bucker
Jungmann types but there is another that is different. The...

The U.S. Navy on Monday said it had ordered 210 F/A-18E/F Super
Hornet attack jets worth $8.5 billion from BOEING CO. and would
pay Boeing $979 million to develop and demonstrate a new

:-) let enola gay drop one more :-) by
old hoodoo
For a reinactment, lets let Enola Gay drop one more...maybe in the Northwest
Area of Pakistan...(we could use one of Pakistan's nukes and justify it as a
nuclear test)....maybe we will get lucky. Osama wants nuclear war anyways
so lets give him a taste. Think of the backdrop of a nuke with all...

Rapes at USAF OTS? by
Ablang-Duff
Recently, there were 5 women on Oprah who claim they were rape victims
while at the AF academy. I was wondering if this ever happened at USAF OTS in
Alabama?
I had never heard anything about that while I was there. Then again,
someone else tells me that saltpeter was added to the food to make...

Why Guantanamo? by

To understand the Constitutional issues involved in holding prisoners in Cuba
go to Google and download the Supreme Court case " Ex Parte Milligan 1866".
That will make everything clear.

Marine Gunship and dragonfly? by
Charles Gray
Here's a question-- I've read some theories that the marines will
eventually need a new gunship to escort V-22's. Many of these involve
a AV-22 style design.
But my question is this-- as I understand it, the V-22 is very
ineffecient and unmanuverable in VTO mode-- it's not a helicopter that
flies...

Any info greatly...

Water Cooled Jet Engines: a possibillity then and now? by

Water Cooled Jet Engines: a possibility then and now?
This post examines German water cooled gas turbine work in the period
1930-1945 and also looks at modern 'steam cooling' of gas turbine
blades.
I speculate as to the possibility of water cooled jet fighters with
radiators or evaporative steam...
