SSA contest website by Udo Rumpf
Has anyone use the "contest result site" lately? It has a default last contest now. I could not find the schedule for 2006 at first, but did find it, way down on the bottom right. The "change the year" button, to get the old contests, appears not to work. Do you have this problem as well? Udo

Tumbleweed at Cloudbase by Mike the Strike
With our best Arizona soaring day this year so far ( a 500 km day with some 7-knot thermals), I was astonished to meet a tumbleweed at cloudbase (about 7,500 feet AGL).
