Replacing Battered POH by
Marco Leon
How does one go about replacing a POH in poor condition with another
"official" copy? I've been contemplating slowly re-doing the POH for my
Warrior but nixed the idea not knowing the regs.
A Google search showed up negative on this query.

Petition for keeping one Concorde flying by
Paul Sengupta
Don't know if you know about this, but the petition to keep Concorde
flying is going to change. The emphasis is now going to be on keeping
one airworthy to be used at airshows, etc.
If you want to sign the petition (anyone that signed the old one will
automatically be carried over to the new one)...

Engine... Overhaul? / Replace? advice please by
text news
The engine in our 1972 C172 (0-320-E2D) is now due for overhaul after 2800

overhaul was at 1500, bottom end untouched). Still running beautifully, no
vibration, plenty of power, good compressions etc.
We are not sure how best...

My Bose headsets are shocking me! by
Peter R.
For the first time in about 200 hours of use in the same aircraft, my
Bose X ANR headsets started shocking my ears every minute or two. The
aircraft is an '02 Cessna 172 SP with Bendix King avionics.
I suspect it is not the headsets, but perhaps a bad ground somewhere in
the intercom...

Fading Rocker Switches by
O. Sami Saydjari
The Rocker switches in my Piper Arrow III are getting difficult to read.
The painted words on the switches have worn away. Is there anyway to
rejuvenate these without buying all new rocker switches?

Reverse Vacuum Damging to Instruments? by
O. Sami Saydjari
Recently, I had an A&P put the wrong vacuum pump into my Piper Turbo

We are looking to replace the run-out Lyc. IO-360-C1C6 engine on our '79
Piper Arrow IV within the next couple of months. There is nothing really
wrong with the current engine, other than it leaks a bit of oil, but its
time is beyond TBO and we are rather conservative owners.
For various reasons...
