Thunder Ridge Airpark by Jim[_18_]
Does anyone have information on Thunder Ridge Airpark in Utah? Is it landable for a 20 meter ship? Airnav shows the runway as only 48 feet wide, on the video online the brush looks low on the sides. Thanks, Jim Dingess

L33 Solo Tires and Tubes by Shaun Wheeler
After an 'experience' I thought I might buy a spare tire and tube for my L33. The OEM production version is somewhat pricey. I'm not cheap.....I'm "thrifty" which is the same as "cheap" but sounds so much better. Any advice on which tires and tubes will fit and where to buy them at the best...

Standalone artificial horizon by Richard Lancaster[_2_]
Hi all, I’m looking for a reliable, high quality, standalone artificial horizon that fits cleanly in a round hole (I’m not wanting a square barnacle that “fits” into a round hole). Does anyone have any flight experience with either of these: uAvionix...

Corroded main pins? by kinsell
Have a friend looking at a used SZD 48-3 for sale with corroded pins, he's wondering if replacement is feasible. Would pins from a totalled ship be a possibility?

AOA indicator poll. by Luc Job
Hi! I have developed last year a solid-state AOA indicator, based on a differential pressure measurement (total pressure/pressure at angle) Undoubtedly, this is a primary flight instrument to me: -It shows where you are aerodynamically speaking, independently of all the variable parameters:...

How reliably do CG hooks disconnect when the angle of the ropeexceeds the autorelease angle by Kenz Dale
I understand that CG hooks are designed to autorelease when the angle of pull passes a certain critical angle. Is this a very reliable disconnect, or is more of an "Eh, it's nice to have but I've seen it fail too many times to trust it"?

Flap speeds by cdeerinck
Can anyone tell me if recommended Flap Speeds, as they appear in flight manuals, are Indicated (IAS) or true (TAS)? I would assume indicated, otherwise a speed ring wouldn't be helpful, but I don't like to assume.
