Feedback on Pilot Site by
[email protected]
We would like your help. The Alpha Pilot Site has just been
re-designed. We have updated it to include a new message board system
and an entirely new look. I think that I am too involved in the design
to evaluate it objectively. If some of you would look it over and give
solid input, it would be...

This is one even Dudley might like. No crashes...just some cool-a$$ flying by

The file is close to 36MB, but it is well worth the...

Good GA Destinations in Hawaii by
zatatime
Hi,
Does anyone have experience flying around HI?
I'm going on vacation there and have a 182 scheduled for 2 days and am
hoping to hear about some, "Don't miss this" spots from people who've
done this before.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Logging Total Time? by
zatatime
Does anyone know what the rules are around logging total time?
My specific example is a person who flew literally hundreds of hours
before getting a license (no solo privs either). He performed all the
duties of the flight including take-off, cross country navigation,
landing, communications,...

Took off at 50MPH and top speed 110.

interstate runnways? by
zaphod
OK, This sounded a little strange to me, but during lunch today with some
co-workers, someone asked if I knew of some rules regarding interstate
construction. They had heard a bit of trivia that claimed that an
interstate highway must have sections that are straight, level, and long
enough for a...

Air Traffic/Pilot Terminology by
[email protected]
I was recently on a flight where I was able to listen to the Pilots
speak to Air Traffic control. It was quite fascinating but I
understood very little of what they were saying. Does anyone know of
a good resource for their terminology? Also, I was wondering if anyone
knew what the following...

Flying Cloud FBO ? by
Zack Sten
I am going to be in Minneapolis for three days in the middle of April.
I'd like to rent a 172 out of Flying Cloud (FCM) while in the area. I
see that there a number of FBOs at that airport that do rentals.
So......any recommendations (good or otherwise) from this knowledgeable
group?

I will be vacationing around Traverse City Michigan region next week
without a plane (sigh). I just discovered that the FBO at TVC no longer
rents planes. Any knowledgeable souls out there know of any location in
that neck of the woods that does hourly single engine rentals?
Please respond to this...
