Stiffness of finished Carbon Fiber part by
RKT
I have a finished CF sample, a common single-ply weave, that exhibits
extreme stiffness, 'thin-ness' and is very lightweight, it looks dry. I have
molded a part using a similar weave, single ply, and do not get the same
stiffness. I can easily deform the finished part with a press of the thumb.
I...

Just go to the the Catalog page and click on "Free Download of

Has anyone noticed a slight dip about an inch above & below (back of the
actual apex) the rolled leading edge of their tank skins & leading edge
skins?
While handling one of my cleco'd tanks, I felt the dip, & thought I had
somehow dented the leading edge. On further inspection,...

Anybody have the pinouts for a Bendix Ignition Exciter, p/n 10-378340-1?
Three pins, A, B, C. I think it's A= Ground, B=DC 7-30v, C=not connected.
Also, does anyone know who can make me a custom harness for this unit?

NBC shows their colors again by
Rich S.
Last night during the Olympic women's platform diving competition, one gal
blew her dive and her chance for a medal. She was understandably distraught
and was sitting behind the platform crying. An NBC cameraman zoomed in on
her face, probably chuckling with glee at his luck in being able to...

But I saw one a...

(OT) lathes & mills : vocabulary questions by
jan olieslagers[_2_]
The recent thread about lathes and related machinery leaves me at a loss
with the terminology, me not being a native English speaker.
A) I think I can imagine a lathe, if I understand correctly it is called
a "tour" in French and a "draaibank" in my native Dutch. That means,
the piece of stock...
