Aircraft ID? canard biz plane by
Ron Hardin
What might a business-sized aircraft have been, that had both a
canard stabilizer up front and a regular stabilizer in the back,
twin engine, very high pitched (frequency) props, quite fast, that
went over.
I think it was smaller than what I remember as a Beech starship.

Brazilian 737 by
Ron Hardin
The Brazilian 737 apparently collided with a biz jet over the Amazon
at 37,000 feet, a testimony to the accuracy of modern navigational
instruments.
Somebody screws up, and you exactly collide with conflicting aircraft,
over remote jungle.
I have never understood exact altitudes. In fact, I...

FBOs at MMU by
Dave Reinhart
All the comments I can find about Signature at MMU are pretty negative.
Anybody got comments about Best in Flight Aviation Academy? The AOPA
directory says they do fuel sales, but there are no comments there or on
AirNav. Thanks.

Question for Ron Natalie by
SB
Ron,
I was wondering if by chance you were able to come up with a particular
regulatory section of any FAA publication regarding our earlier discussion
of Class E surface area extensions (9-8-06) to airport when the airport
class D area is IMC. You mentioned in that case they owned the...

Unusual Honeywell KLN94 aviation GPS failure - what could causethis? by
Dave S
I have seen that indication when the antenna did not have a clear view
of the sky.
The installed aircraft was an EADS/Socata TB-9 with gull wing doors.
Coming out of the pad, the pilot's door when up (as it was in the
summer) would obscure much of the sky and not allow the GPS to get a...

Class E extension by
SB
I am still confused on this particular issue and was hoping somebody in here
could point me in the right direction. I'm sure most of you are familiar
with the class E extension from C&D airports to help facilitate instrument
approaches. Well here's the question. If I can operate in VMC in the...

Unusual Honeywell KLN94 aviation GPS failure - what could causethis? by
Jose
http://www.peter2000.co.uk/aviation/kln94-failure/
This unit has been working perfectly for four years, and works fine
now.
I had something like this happen to me on my first flight with such a
unit (I've only used it a few times). It turned out to be that I had
not turned the GPS on...
